With a sealed Mag Sealed bearing and ATD drag, this Saltiga baitcasting reel is the most advanced in its class. This powerful reel retrieves 1 to 1.19 m of line per turn of the crank. Ideal for slow-jigging in deep water. Its low foot allows the angler to wrap the reel in his hand for a firm hold. Its high-capacity spool and powerful, progressive drag make it ideal for fighting fish. The reel is equipped with a noisemaker pawl to lock the spool in the event of snagging on the bottom. To release (or break...) the line, you can engage the pawl and pull on the line without straining the rod. The locked spool provides a hard point, making it easier to pull on the jammed line without using your fingers and risking cutting yourself. Once the line is disengaged, simply return the pawl to its original position. Validation is easy as the ratchet noise disappears when the spool is put back into fishing action. Size 35 offers greater capacity, power and drag for heavier fishing and bigger fish.
The SJ model is equipped with an offset handle for a better grip during powerful fights. This aluminium handle also allows for longer "long fall" actions. This reel offers the possibility of adjusting the crank length to suit the angler, from 75 to 95 mm depending on the model.
