Extra roomy StraightFit version of the Trek Light shoe at nubuck for hikers with a wider forefoot. For a wide range of terrain, from flatter areas to easier hut-to-hut treks.
Boots that rub on the front sides are often too narrow in this area. Our solution: the StraightFit-Extra last from Hanwag. It's designed to offer more space on the side of the forefoot and around the big toe. It allows hikers with wider feet to be more comfortable on easy hikes. The Banks shoe is made from 100% nubuck leather certified by the Leather Working Group (LWG). This confirms not only the particularly high quality of the leather, but also its compliance with environmental standards and sustainable manufacturing. The 1.5 millimeter-thick polyurethane foam wedge in the midsole provides a smoother ride, significantly better shock absorption and longer-lasting comfort. The Banks shoe is intended for use on demanding hikes in terrain ranging from the lower mountain ranges to the foothills of the Alps, as well as on easier hut-to-hut trails with a light pack.
