Gant essential for low-temperature mountaineering, our gant Black Diamond Soloist combines an eco-friendly Empel DWR water-repellent outer treatment with a long cuff for total protection against the elements. The exterior can be used on its own in moderate temperatures; the insulating subgant in PrimaLoft Gold Cross Core dries quickly and remains effective even when wet. The reinforced goat leather palm withstands abuse on the wall, repeated rope maneuvers and the wear and tear inherent in mountain use.
