Thanks to the same principle of knots, SLYDE is an ingenious rope adjuster that reduces impact forces. It can be used with ropes with a diameter between 9 mm and 10 mm. The user can build his own system that can be created by choosing the most suitable way for the situation, taking into account the types of ropes and connections, the number of forces involved, the weights, the environmental conditions (humidity, dust, snow ... make the rope stiffer and not sliding), wear and tear and everything that could happen during use. If properly evaluated, these parameters will allow you to get a system that is adjusted to your needs. Always remember that the free end of the rope should not come off the SLYDE, but leave enough length to dissipate the strongest expected shock! As not all configurations and uses can be tested, this device is not a PPE and has not been tested according to EN958.
