This finely ground and sieved pellet-based groundbait contains extra fishmeal and a small amount of bread crumbs for texture and is perfect for commercials. The fine particles create an inactive mixture when moistened, which is perfect for fast food breakdown around the hook. The fine texture of the groundbait means it will form a light mist of attractants when it melts on the dispenser, quickly creating a feeding zone.Pro Thatchers Original is simple to mix. Empty the bag of bait into a round bucket, fill a quart maggot tray with water, pour it over the bait and mix well, then let it sit for 30 minutes, during which time the water will be absorbed by the bait. For best results, to eliminate lumps and create a smooth consistency, strain the groundbait through a sieve and it's ready to use. When fishing, the sun and wind can dry out the groundbait a bit, so to combat this, you can cover the mixed groundbait with a damp towel or if it dries out, simply add a little more water and mix again.
