By adding our unique blend of sweet attraction to a mix of fishmeal and crushed pellets, we have created a bait that starts catching right off the whistle and with its extended holding power, ensures that fish stay in your fin.Sonubaits led the way by being the first to introduce a sweet fishmeal bait designed for F1 and skimmers. It's easy to mix, binds well to a methodical feeder and breaks down quickly, all thanks to the ingredients used. The fine fishmeal particles create an inactive mixture when moistened, which is perfect for fast food breakdown around the hook. The F1 Original bait is part of a wider range of hook baits, pellets, pastes and liquids that can all be used alone or in combination with other baits. Des Shipp (English International) says, "If your match is going to be won with big skimmers and F1 weights on the rod, then I pack a bag of F1 groundbait as soon as I get to my station." Mixing TipsThe F1 groundbait is simple to mix. Empty the 2kg bag of groundbait into a round bucket, fill a 2-quart maggot pan with water, pour it over the groundbait and mix well, then let it sit for 30 minutes, during which time the water will be absorbed by the groundbait. When fishing, the sun and wind can dry out the groundbait a bit, to combat this you can cover the mixed groundbait with a wet towel or if it dries out, just add a little more water and mix again.
