Description
Barefoot in nature, theIbex is a weather-resistant leather boot that can be used all year round for more challenging hikes, including on difficult trails, as well as for more occasional use. TheIbex is 12 mm higher in the leg than the Mudee and features our new HillGrip sole with a deeper pattern for better grip in mud and on steeper terrain.
TheIbex features our premium full-grain leather. The height of the boot is 12 mm higher than that of the Mudee. The outsole is grippier than that of the Mudee, providing excellent performance on steeper, more difficult trails, but also on easy ones.
The fit is a little more generous than that of our older Freet models, but you'll probably need to go up a size from your "normal" size for the autres brands.
- All our shoes are fully flexible, have a spacious toe box and are unlevelled (same height at front and heel) to allow natural movement.
- Breathable, durable and water-resistant uppers made from our premium full-grain leather. These hand-selected hides are chosen for their performance and duarability for high-performance hiking boots. This leather should be treated with a quality conditioning/waterproofing product (such as NikWax) before use and regularly, e.g. weekly.

- Asymmetrical 5-in-1 forefoot for a natural foot shape allowing toes to extend naturally
- Removable 2.5 mm Flexile ConnectComfort sole aids shock absorption while ensuring excellent connection to sol. A 5/6 mm OrthoLite outsole and RockPlate are available for purchase if you require additional shock absorption and/or protection against sharp rocks.
- Conventional lacing
- The HillGrip performance outsole is ideal for both easy and challenging, steeper and wetter trails. If elle is worn only on tarmac or concrete, this outsole may wear out faster than our MultiGrip, but elle offers more grip on the trail than the MultiGrip.
