To relax, lie back in your hammock using the Brazilian technique: A hammock should not be hung tight. It’s essential to attach the hammock's loops at head height, and about 3 metres apart. This allows the hammock to form an ideal arc. You can then lie in your hammock Brazilian-style, which means diagonally - not lengthwise. This is the secret to lying comfortably for hours in a hammock. We have purposely avoided wooden spreader bars that make the hammock unstable. So, you no longer need to worry about falling! The diagonal position also has the advantage of stretching the side fabric of the hammock, which won't fold over your face to ruin your view.
