Less is more: we willingly eliminated unnecessary details in the design of the alpine backpack Rupal Light 18, without compromising on alpine functionality. It features rope attachments such as loops for two ice axes or trekking poles and straps for effective compression. The sleek design of the lightweight alpine backpack and our Ergoshape FoM (Freedom of Movement) straps ensure maximum range of movement when climbing: two separately adjustable and removable chest straps tighten the shoulder straps inward if needed to free up more manoeuvring space for the shoulders. The alpine backpack Rupal Light 18 is designed for low weight, so it does without a padded hip belt. Instead, a slim (and removable) strap with a click closure keeps the load stable at the centre of gravity. The main compartment can be opened or closed very quickly with one hand thanks to its flap. Inside, there is a compartment for a hydration bladder, and a handy zipped pocket at the back for storing topographic maps, a smartphone, etc. All of this makes this minimalist alpine backpack the ideal companion for fast and light excursions where every gram counts.
