Lightweight, warm mittens for mountaineering: Endurance Down from Rab, filled with duck down, for a lightweight way to face the cold.
The Endurance Down mittens are a lighter alternative to our Expedition mittens. Weighing just 252 g, they're filled with 650 cuin of lofty duck down and wrap your hands in welcome warmth on your high-mountain adventures or polar expeditions. The Stratus™ synthetic insulation on the sidewall, palm and inner thumb is robust and quick-drying, and protects well against moisture. The mittens are covered with water-resistant, fully recycled Pertex® Quantum Pro, which protects well against wind and light snow and rain, so your fingers stay nice and dry and warm.
The mittens are reinforced on the front of the hand and at the fingers for added durability, and the textured palm offers a better grip on walking poles or an ice axe. Removable wrist loops mean you won't lose them when performing complex tasks with your mitts, and the wrist width makes putting them on and taking them off a breeze. The mittens can be tightened with a one-hand adjustable drawcord for the worst weather, and the inner cuff is elasticated to keep the warmth in. The Endurance Down mittens are ideal for low-intensity use in extreme conditions, or in case of emergency when climbing at session altitude or winter hiking in extremely cold weather.
