Ultralight Ice Screws are designed for ski-mountaineering, glacier racing and high-level mountaineering. Lighter by 45% than our Express Screws, Ultralight Ice Screws combine a steel tip with an aluminum body and forged aluminum lanyard with two integrated carabiner eyelets. The innovative Express finger-threaded handle reduces weight and makes handling the screw easier. Ultralights are also easily identifiable by size thanks to the customary color-coding Black Diamond.
