The SALATHE LITE is 20% lighter than its big brother! The use of Curv® material instead of a traditional ABS shell has made it possible to reduce the weight. Curv® is the latest generation of an extremely high-performance thermoplastic material. It has properties similar to reinforced composite materials like carbon: good rigidity, high break resistance, and exceptionally high impact resistance - all at a very low weight.

• Chin strap with side loops for added comfort
• Ultra-lightweight internal part made of PPE (expanded polypropylene) for excellent shock absorption and high deformability
• Minimalist adjustment system with adjustable straps for a perfect fit, minimal bulk, and excellent ventilation
• Headlamp attachment consisting of two clips at the front and an elastic strap at the back
• Large ventilation openings providing continuous airflow and good heat dissipation
• The shape of the helmet is specially designed for use with a ski mask
• Ergonomic inner shape with removable padding
• Tested for lateral, front, and rear impacts according to the requirements of standard EN 12492
• Robust hard shell made of innovative and extremely lightweight Curv® material on the top and front for added protection, e.g., in case of falling rocks
• CE certified as a ski touring helmet according to PCSR-002 11.2019 (note: does not meet the requirements of standard EN 1077 for ski helmets)
