That's why we thought of a base layer made from merino wool that could meet the needs of hikers, ski mountaineers, climbers, and all outdoor enthusiasts. Made from merino wool, the new Dinamico Merino 130 leggings offer unique comfort. Thanks to the raw material used in its manufacturing, these leggings have an incredible ability to insulate against cold as well as heat. Additionally, merino wool combines unique properties such as the ability to retain heat even in humid conditions. Naturally antibacterial, it ensures odour control; it is soft to the touch and against the skin, providing protection against UV rays; it offers high thermal insulation and excellent breathability. Not to mention durability. The wool used is certified mulesing-free. A responsible and ethical choice that reflects our philosophy. Mulesing is a surgical practice in which pieces of flesh and skin are removed from the peri-anal area of merino sheep to protect them from infections caused by flies laying their eggs there. This practice is carried out without anaesthesia or antiseptic treatment, and it does not always protect the animal from infections. In fact, it is so invasive that it can lead to the sheep’s death. We, at our level, are totally opposed to this, which is why we chose a more expensive but animal-friendly yarn.
