Textile structure and fire resistance

The base material of the UBAS V3 FIGHTER GEN 2 relies on a NyCo RipStop weave combining 50% nylon and 50% cotton, a mil-spec standard recognized for its balance between robustness, breathability and tear resistance. The torso features a 100% “flame retardant” construction compliant with EN ISO 14116:2015, ensuring certified protection when the risk of flame exposure is an operational reality. This combination of materials allows for optimal comfort, enhanced protection, and proven durability.

From the collar to the elbows: integrated ergonomics and protection

The collar of the UBAS V3 FIGHTER GEN 2 includes 2 mm micro-perforated foam padding, lined with a Soft Touch coating that reduces friction and pressure points generated by the prolonged wear of its service weapon via its tactical strap. This design reflects an approach focused on operational endurance where every detail contributes to protecting the fighter over time.
Dedicated compartments accommodate D3O elbow pads (sold separately), which can be accessed through zipped exterior openings, adjustable with velcro for precise hold regardless of body shape. A quick-access zippered opening for watches, complemented by a dial protection band, allows for quick consultation without unnecessary handling.

Support and stability in motion

The lower part of the UBAS V3 FIGHTER GEN 2 ends with a hem equipped with a silicone anti-slip band. This device prevents any ride-up of the garment during dynamic phases.
