Born from a complete overhaul of the FIGHTER GEN 2 range, the UBAS V2 is based on a fully rethought equipment architecture developed from field feedback from operators. This new generation does not just improve on what's already there: it redefines performance standards for every piece of equipment intended for the full operational spectrum. The V2 logic signifies a targeted upgrade in technicality, incorporating strategic reinforcements and advanced features that meet the demands of professionals engaged in various operational theatres. Built around materials proven in OPEX and a holistic architecture designed for intensity and duration, this UBAS V2 is a centerpiece for operators who refuse to compromise between protection and mobility.

Textile Construction and Breathability

The main body of the UBAS V2 FIGHTER GEN 2 is made from a fully designed body in micro-perforated polyester, offering high-performance breathability that is essential during periods of sustained effort under a tactical plate carrier or protective gear. This composition allows for rapid moisture wicking while maintaining optimal thermal comfort, even during extended deployments. The sleeves are crafted from a NyCo RipStop fabric combining 50% nylon and 50% cotton, a blend that ensures both mechanical tear resistance and skin comfort in the field.

Reinforced Areas and Targeted Ventilation

At the shoulders, CORDURA® reinforcements with 2 mm micro-perforated foam padding provide increased resistance to chafing from carrying heavy loads and ballistic equipment. Breathable mesh cutouts placed under the armpits complete the torso ventilation system during dynamic movements.

Reinforced CORDURA® D3O Elbow Compartments

The UBAS V2 FIGHTER GEN 2 includes compartments designed for D3O elbow pads (sold separately), accessible from the inside of the sleeve for secure retention in all circumstances. The elbows also feature CORDURA® reinforcements. This modular protection system allows the operator to adjust their level of protection according to the nature of the mission without compromising freedom of movement or the overall profile of the equipment.

Operational Support and Stability

Finally, the bottom of the UBAS is equipped with a hem featuring a silicone anti-slip band. This feature ensures that the garment stays tucked inside the combat trousers, even during dynamic movements.
