Our new DM BALANCING WEIGHTS made of pure tungsten are an industry first! Designed to be placed on the barrel of a size 11 swivel, these precision weights balance a floating hook on the rig of your choice. Ideal for use with Chod, Hinge-Stiff and Spinner rigs, they offer a clean alternative to putty. Made from pure tungsten, which is much denser than other tungsten filled rubber products, they have an amazing size to weight ratio which helps to make the final rig cleaner.DM BALANCING WEIGHTS can be used to counterbalance most pop ups / floating hook baits, which is particularly useful when using bare Chod rigs where it can be difficult to get the weight needed to sink the pop up. They are also quickly interchangeable, making them perfect for critically balancing hook baits. They don't wear out and are reusable, meaning they will last forever if not lost.Available in 5 weights (0.30g - 0.50g), each individual product is laser engraved with a number to identify the weight, for example, 0.30g is labelled as 30.In addition, a "mixed pack" containing 15 weights (3 of each size) is available. With the mixed pack, you can try all the weights until you find the perfect one, then use the same size every time for that particular bait.Did you know? Crayfish are attracted to tungsten, and anglers who fish waters where they are present will tell you what a nightmare they are when using putty. DM BALANCING LAMPS are the perfect solution to this problem when fishing in waters containing crayfish, as they cannot pull them off the rig.TIP: They fit ALL size 11 Korda swivels. We have done everything we can to try and control the tolerance of the Korda size 11 swivels, BUT sometimes they are a little tight to push in completely by hand. We recommend that you use a Krimp tool to carefully bring the balance weight and swivel together. Please note that they will not necessarily fit the competition's size 11 swivels, as sizes vary. Tungsten is a very hard material, it is not very flexible and therefore cannot be easily forced onto oversized barrels.
