No compromise has been made in the components used and the attention to detail in all Benchmark LevelTech products. This system is the premier of its kind and features a stepped rail on the inner leg. The cam system on the outer leg uses a double-toothed pivoting lever that, when engaged, fits securely into the inner leg rail. The cam also has no moving parts. Instead of using a traditional spring system to engage the cam, the LevelTech system uses opposing magnets to engage the teeth in the rail, resulting in a more durable, robust and maintenance-free system.
