Description
The GEL-ODYSSEY™ shoe is a versatile walking shoe built to last. Its SPEVA ™ foam midsole goes beyond the shock-absorbing properties of conventional foams to increase the shoe's durability while adding a more responsive bounce. There's also a removable OrthoLite™ insole, which adds extra comfort and helps manage moisture around your foot so it doesn't overheat. The shoe has design features that help stop "overpronation," the tendency of the foot to roll inward when walking. The shoe includes DUOMAX® technology, which consists of two midsole materials of different density to provide smooth overpronation control. TRUSSTIC SYSTEM® technology in the midfoot provides added stability when hiking on challenging terrain and helps control torsion throughout your stride. When you're walking long distances, comfort is key, so we placed our GEL® technology in the back of the foot. This material provides excellent shock absorption, which is helpful for activities that involve constant foot impact. The shoe also includes an AHARPLUS™ heel to improve durability and support you over many miles. This AHARPLUS™ rubber is a tough compound used in the parts of the outsole where there is more frequent contact to reduce wear and tear.
