Backing up with peace of mind
When paired with a compatible GPS navigator, the BC 35 Wireless Backup Camera acts as a multi-functional Wi-Fi camera that helps you easily spot vehicles, pedestrians or other hard-to-see obstacles behind your vehicle.
If the camera is connected to your backup lights, your compatible Garmin navigation system can automatically display the camera's video feed when the vehicle is in reverse and then switch back to navigation mode when the vehicle is in forward gear. You can also connect the system to a DC power supply to switch from navigation display mode to reverse display mode at the touch of a button.
You can adjust the guide lines to suit the size of your vehicle, to help you better judge distances when backing up. You can use up to 4 cameras simultaneously in one system, so you have multiple angles of view when backing up.
The BC 35 is rugged enough to withstand the most extreme weather conditions. Garmin recommends that you take your BC 35 to your dealer to have it professionally installed. But if you are a do-it-yourselfer, you can also do the installation yourself. You will need to mount the camera on the back of your vehicle and connect it to a power source, such as the backup lights.
